1. Who we are

This website (bfg.am) is operated by BFG LLC, a company registered in the Republic of Armenia.

“BFG.AM”, “BFG”, “we”, “us” refer to BFG LLC in this document.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data in three situations:

• Contact form. Name, email address and the message you write. Optional metadata: IP address and browser user-agent string, recorded with the submission for spam-prevention.
• Direct email. Anything you send to info@bfg.am or to a personal address of a team member, including the email content and headers added by your mail provider.
• Server logs. Standard web-server logs record the IP address, request path, response code and user-agent of every visit. Kept for up to 30 days for operational and security purposes.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.

3. Why we process it

• To respond to your enquiry — when you submit the contact form or email us, we use your data to reply and to scope the engagement you describe. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for EU/UK data subjects).
• To run B2B outreach — if you are a publicly listed business contact in our target market, we may contact you using your work email or LinkedIn to introduce our services. Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering B2B engineering services (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can opt out at any time by replying “no” or “unsubscribe” — we will stop and remove you from our outreach list.
• To keep the site running — server logs are processed under legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.

4. Third-party services

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser exchanges IP-level metadata with Google to fetch the fonts. We do not pass any personal data to Google ourselves.

Email sent to us is processed by our mail provider for delivery and storage.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or any similar product on this site.

5. How long we keep it

• Contact-form submissions: up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted unless an active engagement requires retention.
• Email correspondence: retained as long as required for the engagement and our records, then deleted on request.
• Outreach lists: an opt-out / “no” reply triggers immediate suppression. We keep a minimal suppression record (email only) to avoid contacting you again.
• Server logs: rotated and deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights

If GDPR / UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion (“right to be forgotten”);
• restrict or object to our processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, write to info@bfg.am with the subject line “Data request”. We respond within 30 days.

7. International transfers

BFG LLC is based in Armenia. If you are located in the EU/UK, your data is transferred to Armenia for processing. Armenia is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection (Commission decision of 14 January 2019 — review pending) and is a party to Convention 108+ of the Council of Europe. Where this changes, we apply Standard Contractual Clauses as an additional safeguard.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this document when our practice changes. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are announced via the same channel you contacted us through.
